Whimsical Jewelry

Happy Monday, all! I hope it was a sweet one for you! Now, take a look at the candy colored vintage-inspired jewelry {cameo necklaces, cameo earrings and teacup rings} beautifully made for the little ladies in your life, by the lovely Natascha of Gingerbread Jewelry. These whimsies are made with vintage paper and vintage plastic flowers. A-DOR-ABLE! I don't know about you, but I want them all for myself! Sorry, Cali and Makiah {my two lovely nieces}! There's lots more to see at Pink Hello Kitty. Go ahead, take a look.

Lovely Inspirations {Lucyina Moodie}

{images: Lucyina Moodie}
I came across the works of Lucyina Moodie while perusing Apartment Therapy.
Lucyina Moodie, an interiors stylist, has styled some of the most beautiful and inspirational interiors, exteriors and still life images that I have ever feasted my eyes upon. I can see myself climbing those lovely stairs leading to an even more lovely bedroom. I can also see myself in one of Lucyina's outdoor shots, sitting at one of the flower garden tables, having ice tea, lemonade and sandwiches with some lady friends. Her works are invigorating, inviting and whimsical. Here are just a few of her creations to "ooohhh and aaahhh" you into what I hope will be a wonderful and special weekend for you all. Have a splendid two days off. Be kind. Be sweet. Be happy. See you back here on Monday.

Haberdash!

{Found via the blog, Punky Style}
Haberdash, is a 1954 vintage Bellwood Aloha trailer that doubles as a mobile vintage clothing boutique, and is available for markets, parties, festivals, special events, house calls and photo shoots. This trailer is so cool! I want to live in that trailer and I want Haberdash to come to my town!

A Super Creative Cottage {Love!}

I spotted Allison's super creative and inspiring home on Apartment Therapy and I wrote a comment gushing about how much I loved her home and that I would like to feature it on GirlWhimsy. I just think Allison's home is a great display of vintage loveliness! I also love the fact that Allison prefers handmade or vintage pieces over high priced or designer items. But wait, so Allison read my comment and left me a message on GirlWhimsy that she would love to have her home featured on my blog. YEAH ME! So here it is. Don't you agree her vibrant home is wonderful?! And, oh, Allison is the master mind behind Lark, a company that creates childrens' products that are socially and environmentally responsible (that's always a great thing), most made from handmade and recycled materials. Her kids, Jacob and Jules, are lucky - having all those toys at their disposal! So, check out the highlights of her home and then when you're done, pop over to Lark to check out the vintage and whimsical toys and art prints {Oh MY!}. I saw some things (who am I kidding - I saw LOTS of things) that I definitely want to buy. Uh oh, here I go again! P.S., her blog is cute, too. Thank you, Allison!
