Because it's Halloween weekend, I wanted to post an array of interiors that showcased the orange and black theme. I love these two colors together - how whimsical and fun! Have a safe and happy weekend, my whimsies. See you back here on Monday.

I first learned of the rainbow, candy color-coated tea shoppe, called Crown & Crumpet, while perusing one of my favorite decorating magazines, and ever since that first sighting I have been dreaming of taking a trip to San Francisco and visiting this colorful paradise. I think when I first walk into this whimsical store it will be like walking into a fairytale or a candy store {or both mixed into one} that has all my favorite goodies and then some! And, in that fairytale or candy store, I am allowed to have as many tea parties and as much candy as my heart desires! Tea anyone! These whimsical photos are courtesy of MadeByGirl.

These dreamlike, whimsical illustrations make me smile, and were created by French illustrator, Lydia Lys Selimalhigazi, who in her works, utilizes drawings and writings with vintage photographs, collages and engravings. Love these! See more here.

Okay, I just found out that GirlWhimsy was honored with another lovely blog award, this time from Giovanna of the inspirational and creative fashion, art and design blog, Boho Market. This FAB-U-LOUS blog has become one of my daily reads. So, please check it out. It will become one of your daily reads, too! Thank you, Giovanna! Here are some rules to receiving this award: 1. Nominate three (3) blogs {Oh, boy!}; and 2. Answer some questions about myself.
