In my personal home decor, I love a mishmash of colorful, vintage, & found pieces. So, when I saw this home on Design Sponge, I fell in love. This whimsical space makes me happy. And that moody blue bedroom and floral trundle sofa...gasp! Why can't I find things like that on Craigslist?! And the owner & her dog are just darling!

Ooh La Frou Frou
I first stumbled upon these whimsical, elegant & divine ladies while checking out one of my favorite
blogs, Beautiful Things To Share. These glamorous fashionistas, created for the glamorous bride-to-be,
were exquisitely designed by the talented artist, Sandra Markwalder. What I love most about these
cards, besides the lovely designs, is that each diva has a unique personality & story behind its creation.
Let me introduce you to my new favorite girls....
This first wedding card is called, "Love's In Bloom", & stars the stylish "Hope" and her poodle, "Olive".
Hope is a city girl & loves to shop til she drops. Hope has just become engaged to her "Mr. Handsome",
& can't wait to tell her girlfriends & show off her sparkly diamond ring.
The second wedding card is called, "Glamour Girls". Here "Hope" {in the pretty white dress in the middle} brings her four gorgeous bridesmaids along with her to do some shopping. From the far left, there's the auburn haired beauty, "Alex". She loves to bake delicious goodies. Next, with her back to us, is the lovely "Tiffany", who has been told countless times that she look likes the actress, Audrey Hepburn. To the right of Hope, in the cute purple dress, is "Sunny" who hails from sunny Beverly Hills, California. This girlfriend can give Hope a run for her money in the shopping department. And, on the far right, is "Aimee", which means "loved". And let me tell you, Aimee loves Paris & everything about Paris.
The third wedding card is called, "Bridesmaids". In this card you see "Hope's" bridemaids modeling one of the design dress styles the ladies may wear in the wedding.
The fourth wedding card is called, "Maid of Honor", & features another Ooh La Frou Frou diva, "Violet",
who is Hope's Maid Of Honor. Violet is the girl that Hope, Alex, Tiffany, Sunny, & Aimee go to for
interior decorating advice. Her rockin' penthous apartment is a testament to the sophisticated &
glamorous style that she has.
The fifth wedding card is called, "Mother of the Bride". Here, "Hope" and her mother are in town
going from store to store shopping for that perfect wedding dress. She tries on lots of lovely gowns
& sparkly shoes fit for a princess.
The sixth card in this series is called, "Sweet News". Here you'll see "Sunny" reading the sweet
announcement of the bride-to-be's upcoming nuptials.
Did you have fun getting to know these darling ladies? Well, if you want to stay updated on when
new cards will be available, just become a fan of Ooh La Frou Frou's facebook page, here.

Metallic Pastels - Chanel Haute Couture
I love this Chanel Haute Couture S/S 2010 collection. The whimsical mix of modern metallics& pretty pastels makes me think "vintage vampire {'cause the hair makes me think of dracula}
with a futuristic flair". So quirky. Love it!

Whimsy for the Body & Home
Aren't these vintage frocks feminine & romantically divine? I want them all! The adorable Shan Shan of Tiny Toadstool sells these sweet, darlings that she either finds at vintage shops or creates herself beautifully by hand. These are just a few of my favorite picks from her Flickr photostream, but you must check out her online shops where you can buy some of these lovelies & more. She even sells the cutest floral stockings that I've ever seen {like the ones in the 6th photo}. Click these links to see more: dadayas shop, tiny vintage wardrobe, & tiny wardrobe.

&....I would love to have any or all of these colorful, whimsical, eclectic & darling pieces in my home. Wouldn't your home be a happy home! And, walking through the door would be an instant pick me up!
I hope you're enjoying your Memorial Day! Muah!
