Flea Market Style {Another Lovely Inspiration}

Emily Chalmers is not only an author {she pinned Flea Market Style, Cheap Chic, Table Inspirations and Candle Delights}, she is an interiors stylist and owner of the London interiors boutique, Caravan. In her interiors, Emily likes to combine individually chosen flea market beauties to create a unique signature home style. Flea Market Treasures

I love going to flea markets hunting for vintage lovelies that once belonged to someone else – wondering who that someone else was and what kind of life he or she lived. I also wonder why someone would want to get rid of their treasures. Oh well, I guess one woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure. Selina Lake, UK-born interiors stylist, is the author of Bazaar Style: Decorating with Market and Vintage Finds, a book about the art of taking what you love, whether it's the influence of flea market finds, vintage, retro or Moroccan bazaar, and adding it to your home decor scheme. The pages of this book are bold, colorful and inspiring, and the designs are eclectic - they are not for the faint of heart. Bazaar Style is truly one of my favorite style books because Selina Lake shows that you can throw what you want into the decorating mix (for me, it's vintage and shabby chic influences), be daring, and your home will still turn out fabulous.
