Here's my favorite plastic gal and her pals, Ken (you know he is never far behind), Stacey, Francie, Casey, Skipper and Tutti. What young girl did not fall in love with Barbie and want to be Barbie, and live in her pink dream house, wear her fabulous clothes and hang out with her beautiful friends! Vintage Toy Typewriter

I just bought a vintage toy typewriter very similar to the typewriter in the third photo and I love it! It makes for a lovely display on my bookshelf. My niece loves the typewriter, too - she doesn't know it yet, but when she gets a little older(around six or seven - she's currently four years old) Auntie will let her play with it so she can practice her words and numbers. Only a few more years to go Cali!

so here are some vintage toy kitchens - aren't they cute! Your little one would have hours of fun playing with these, they're great! As shown above, I love the idea of hanging the toy kitchens as wall art!

Vintage Dollhouse

I love vintage dollhouses and this one showcases vintagelicious interiors! The dolls featured in the photos are Japanese Blythe dolls produced in the 1970's and are still sought after collector's items today.
Sadly, I didn't hold on to any of my dollhouses from my childhood, but I remember sitting on the floor for hours playing with my dolls, doing their hair and rearranging their dollhouse furniture many times over. My niece, Cali, is now of the age where she loves to play with dolls (her favorites are Barbie and the Bratz dolls) and dollhouses. I must tell her to keep at least one or two of her dollhouses so that one day as a young woman she can pull them out and recapture the joy of her youth.

Les Beedibies Dolls

These classic dolls created by french doll company, Corolle, are adorable!! They have little holes for mouths and they can suck their thumbs, and they have the cutest little outie belly buttons! Don't they remind you of Cupie dolls?
