This
home tour was originally posted on
Apartment Therapy in 2006, so the decor may have possibly changed (I surely hope not!), but I had to post this because I love the dweller's mix of mid-century modern & vintage pieces. And, what really made me take a closer look at this home is the owner's style advice: "Don't be afraid of color. It will make you happy and give you more creative energy." That's a girl that's after my own design heart, because this is truly a home exploding in color. And, if you notice, there is definitely a love of stuff (vintage fabric, vintage toys, art supplies, miniatures and plastic utensils), vignettes and colorful clusters in this home. What a place of
cheerfulness and
creativity! I'm sure as soon as you walk through the front door, you're inspired to make something pretty!
